Westgate Pharmacy

Had seen the pharmacy previously and decided to try - very convenient location as you can see a doctor, do shopping, dry cleaning etc all in a 100 metre radius. They have a wide range of goods i.e. cosmetics and have a lotto counter for those interested. Good customer service, reasonably priced, friendly staff - also very busy so you may have a 10-15 minute wait for scripts.

A pharmacy without PayWave... Post staff are incredibly unhelpful and can be rude. Also need to BYO pen if you want to write on a package as apparently they don't provide them?

I waited 30mints for my prescribed injection and found out they don't have it in the stock. It doesn't take that long to tell that you don't have in the stock. Wasted my time. More frustrating was even no one bothered to ask or tell until I walked towards reception. Seemed they totally forgot about my prescription as they asked me to write my name on paper so they can find out. I don't like to write any kind of review but this time I was very upset as I had to go another pharmacy and had to wait there.

went to the post office in the pharmacy to post my visa extension application. they were friendly and advised me accordingly. something to note is that the opening hours for the post office will be changed from 20th jan 2020.

Absolutely disgusted that this pharmacy is selling FAKE N95 Masks. At $14.95 each also. People are trying to protect themselves and their community and you are doing no more than duping them out of money and safety.

BAD SERVICE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING went last night to get a passport photo done. I walked in and no one greeted me. They were all standing at their counters and talking to each other. There was 2 people at the beauty counter and 2 people in the prescriptions area. I was waiting at the counter for a good 5 MINUTES waiting for someone to come and approach me, they SAW me but continued chatting with one another. I RANG the bell to get their attention, that's when the pharmacist came down and asked how she could help. I told her I needed a passport photo taken, to which she replied "Sorry, we don't have enough staff". However, there was 3-4 staff and NO CUSTOMERS in the store apart from me. customer service is so shocking, no wonder they have no customers and everyone is at Chemist Warehouse. If you are planning on going to this chemist - please AVOID, it's worth crossing the road and going to the Chemist Warehouse. More variety, better prices AND better customer service

The worst worst pharmacy I have been to in Auckland!! And I have lived in many suburbs of Auckland, and have been to many different pharmacies. This one takes forever to bring the prescription medicines. Plenty of staffs, but they all are lazy. Walking around the store as if strolling in a garden. Only turn their head if someone walks in to the store, and completely ignore people waiting for the prescription medicine. And the chemists are just chatting, laughing, or just pretending they are busy. These guys even have a notice in store that - If you are waiting for more than 15 mins, please contact staff. Seriously!! Do they expect people to start a stopwatch/timer after handing over a prescription!! And that notice also means that it is fairly normal for customers to be just waiting for long time without getting attended. How hard it is to have a simple communication between the chemists and store staff to ensure that a medicine is handed over to a waiting, mostly sick, customer once it is ready. In my case, and multiple times, I had to ask them about the status. And then the staff will go over to the chemists area to find that the medicine have been sitting there. Yesterday was the same story. This time I was checking if they even bother to realize that there is a customer waiting for prescription medicines. And no one, until I got fed up and waved to one staff. And she asks - Are you waiting for prescription medicine? No, I was taking a stroll in a garden, or enjoying in a summer fair!! How stupid they can be! She got the medicine which was ofcourse just lying at the chemists side, and gave it to me. No apologies for the delay. Not sure if they are racists, they may be. Anyways, my advice to everyone would be just avoid this pharmacy. Easier and quicker to drive to any other nearby pharmacy, and you will be treated with respect which is the most important thing. This pharmacy is one of the worst business I have experienced in Auckland in terms of customer service. There is none in fact. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Don't use these guys to post parcels. I was charged $13.70 to send some thin socks and a card from Auckland to Christchurch. I stood in the queue for some time for the privilege. Got home and used the website rate finder and seems it should have cost either $5.50 or $6.50 depending on the length of the parcel. Make sure to measure and get an idea before you go to NZ Post because the staff don't know what they are doing.

Really disappointed and upset with the service or lack there-of I received today. Called at 8:30am to book a wheelchair as I am post op and needed it for a special event. Turned up at 12:30 to find that ALL the wheelchairs had flat tyres and they didn’t have a pump. The staff member told me “yeah sorry about that, there’s always something wrong with these wheelchairs”. Then why are you not checking them before you rent them out? Really messed up my day. Won’t be bringing my business here again.
