This school absolutely sucks,nThey act like they have the best education yet the teachers just give out a topic without actually explaining it. The classroom sizes aren't small unless if you are in year 12+, and there are limited subject options to choose from, so you're often stuck picking the subjects you don't actually need for university. The school looks so run down, the furniture is broken e.g. chairs, tables, the technology e.g. computers, tvs are either broken or outdated, and the school has a disgusting odor that comes from the constant sewerage leaks, and the school wont do anything about it. The tap water is often contiminated with sewerage water, as it has a weird odor coming from it too.nThe school really cares about it's reputation and uniform, yet on the inside they aren't willing to actually make the school a better environment for students to learn in.nDONT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL
My sentence structure even though I spent 90% of English lessons staring at a tree has somehow not been too bad, the primary’s great aside from being taught completely oblivious to the fact no kid in a public school behaves as well as the primary students at Wentworth take that information as you wish. Aside from the 1-2 fun projects a year your kid will get to do the classes are boring and dullnThe uniform genuinely sucks there’s nothing more atrocious I could think of wearing than a skirt that has to reach your knees, a button down shirt or blouse or smth like that, a tie that looks like it was broken and fixed again by someone off 5-minute crafts and a blazer that turns you into a Lego piecenAnd also the tights that makes your entire legs itchy all class when you sit down on hard plastic cheap chairs honestly for 25k ish a year not forgetting the computers that were purchased sometime between 2003-2009 that somehow still function unlike your child will after 2 weeks of attendancenBarely any fun subjects e.g. anything other than English, math, history/gp, science and if it is fun you won’t get to do it often at allnnOverall send your kids to primary, take them out, fly them across the world to England because it’s more fun breaking rules in a school with isolation than it is in a school that makes you write uniform rules or if you were stuck with that one science teacher who made me write lines on the whiteboard “I will not leave class early without being dismissed” I do it all the time now nI hope your aren’t one of my old teachers if so, sorry mate
Awful college. One of the only schools that does not teach any māori at all. Staff say that “300 kids is too small,” and “building a new classroom and having a new teacher will raise the school fees,” even though they are building another section! School cant provide hot water for noodles or decent technology newer than 2010, computers are almost always munted or somehow not working. Sounds like a good 23,000 dollars a year to me!
Can’t provide hot water for noodles “I don’t think I can give you hot water, I’ll have to ask Mr —“ Aweful student support help, lady is always bipolar. 18000+ dollars a year in tuition and still can’t fix their hot water system or get functioning microwaves. Even a public school like Whanga College has better services smh. School bathroom is a mess, loose taps, wonky toilet seats, doors without locks. Yet they decide to buy a security camera to find culprits and not address the issue. Also laptops are very outdated and need to be replaced, missing keys, scratches on the screen. The uniform is paper thin and you can see the garments underneath. The slit at the back of the skirt is terrible, it always feels like I’m flashing myself. The boy’s summer socks are the worst. The elastics aren’t strong enough to remain on the shin so it just slides down and you get yelled at for not pulling them up when they literally slide down the moment you walk. The classrooms are always too hot or cold and they don’t have good heating and coolings systems. There isn’t even enough benches in the school so sometimes I end up sitting on the gum covered floor. Playground is horrifying. Literally looks abandoned even an international student didn’t know what it was supposed to be. School doesn’t have proper field big enough to play rugby or football for children who want to. Aside from that the education isn’t the worst, they have capable teachers but I noticed students who top in their class don’t get help or extra material to improve.
Very good school. That guy who got kicked out because of his underwear derserved it, terrible looking underwear.
