When I asked one of the teachers where can I park my car, because I was waiting for my cousin after school. She said go through this lane then park over there if there is space. But when I went into that lane which was a bus lane which also I couldn’t see the sign cause of the bus on my left was covering it. I went into that lane and I couldn’t leave because there was a bus in front of me, so I asked him kindly to move the bus a tiny bit then I can fit through the tiny gap.and he said “ drive over the curb.I’m not moving the bus , wait till school end”, so I was in shock and went back into my car. I said “ my car is to low and it will scratch my wheels and damage, can you please move the bus a bit forward or to the side”. The islander bus driver said “ i don’t care about your car and just move, or wait till school end”. I got pissed because they weren’t reasoning with me. So I wanted for school to end and there was 10 mins left to it end and I got so happy it started raining because now I can drive over the curb without damaging anything. But a white lady came towards the car and opened my door, she just started screaming and shouting . She has no rights touching my vehicle and shouting at me when I was about to leave. So I asked her when I was about to go through “ can you guide me,am I to close to the bus” that old lady said “LEAVE,GET OUT FROM HERE, ITS A BUS LANE WHY ARE YOU PARKED HERE”. She opens my door twice while I was driving slowly trying to get out . that was very unsafe she couldn’t gotten injured and the car would’ve been damaged. But for some reason I was in the wrong when I didn’t know where to park. I asked them Kindly “ can you please move the bus a tiny bit forward”. And that’s what I got as a first impression from the school. Only drivers were nice and reasonable was the Asian bus drivers they knew I couldn’t move from there. But the islander who had a limp on his leg was rude and unhelpful and gave no respect for the person who wanted them to have no problem just from leaving with no issues. The lady was very rude and violent. The school has very horrible staff who have no communication skills and common sense. the school should read this and make sure their staff will have some consequences for their actions and rude behaviour towards parents and children. I would not send my kid to that type of school where the teachers have no care for the students. The lady who was very rude has also done some absolutely terrible things to some students. One is the kicking a student which she didn’t like. Second was swearing at students. Thirdly it was body shaming students which makes them uncomfortable to come to school. These type of teachers should not be allowed to be around anyone especially to the future of New Zealand’s. Howick college shouldn’t even be an option for parents to app roll their children to this school.

I actually made friends here, good friends. I recommend that you go here, IRVINE IS THE BEST.
