Beautiful area! Truly a sight to behold! Has a good selection of walks in the forest. There's also a beautiful beach with many seashells. Good place for a picnic but could use more trash cans. Does have toilets.
Beautiful place for relaxation. Nice beach for swimming and its safe. Heaps of natural shades, picnic areas and toilets. Plenty of parking spaces. Great way to hangout with family and friends with a beautiful view of the beach. Recommended to visit and enjoy the beauty of nature.
We stopped by here for lunch after previously driving past the road to it. The parking area was quite large so there were plenty of spaces to choose from when we were there. We managed to get one of the table under the trees to eat lunch on. The grassy area was quite big so plenty of space to run around in. The water is past the grassy area. There are also quite a few BBQs around the area for anyone to use. There are two water areas, one side with calm water and the other with waves. We went to the wavy side. We were able to grab an area by the edge of the beach for our gear and played around in the water. There was a life guardhouse but it was closed when we were there. There is a toilet block with showers by the beach and another larger set of toilets further down, by the information signboard. It also looked like there were quite a bit of tracks to walkthrough too. It is a nice place to spend some time relaxing on the beach, either in the water or out of it.
Such a great spot. The camp ground is dotted with pockets of trees, giving shelter and privacy for campers. There's a modern toilet block and a stop of reserve at the edge of the estuary. Lovely
Great place to hang out with the family. Nice family friendly bush tracks . Lovely beach with plenty of carparks. Camping site if you want to spend more than a day.
Very well maintained path and track, toilet lights up automatically when dark, lots of BBQ and picnic areas, a few access to beaches, boat ramps and tracks. Plenty of parking all along the park. Lots of trees with low branches for children to explore.
Great park with access to beaches, open grass areas and a boat ramp. Quite a few barbecues to use. Public toilet and changing facilities.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Wenderholm Regional Park and I was thoroughly impressed by the facilities and natural beauty of the area. The park is located on the Puhoi estuary and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the water and the surrounding bush. One of the things I appreciated most about Wenderholm Regional Park was the great facilities that were available to visitors. There are numerous picnic tables and BBQs scattered throughout the park, making it easy to find a spot to relax and enjoy a meal. There are also clean, well-maintained restrooms located throughout the park, which was much appreciated. Another highlight of my visit to Wenderholm Regional Park was the safe swimming area. Located just a short walk from the main car park, the swimming area is protected by a breakwater and is perfect for families with young children. The water was crystal clear and inviting, and I had a great time swimming and playing in the waves. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Wenderholm Regional Park. Whether you're looking to relax in the great outdoors, go for a swim, or just enjoy a picnic with the family, this is the perfect place to do it.
Lovely park, spacious for a nice sunny day out camping. I visited the same park and beach a day after Christmas and it wasn’t pristine. It was crowded, and the beach had a foul smell, it wasn’t natural. I went again last weekend with my husband and our friends and we had a nice day out. It was clean, the beach was AMAZING, it was crowded but something was different this time. We did a picnic with delicious South Indian food cooked by our friends mum from Hyderabad and a few other northern deliciousness too! Highly recommended for a picnic at this park.
Beautiful beach, Clean clear water BBQ, Perfect place for kayaking. Heaps of parking spots. Toilets Walking track. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED
