The original and nearly longest lasting motor cycle shop in Wellington region. I have been buying bikes and biking accessories from Wellington Motorcycles since 1978, very saddened to hear the Petone store is closing soon.

Had a great experience here. Staff were truely friendly and helpful. I was served by Mike who couldn't do enough to assist. I got the items I was after, within my budget and to the specifications I wanted.
Awesome place, lots of big boy toys
They get two stars buts that’s for the bike which is great. A below average level of an approach to the sales process, unfortunately more like an “A” typical used car salesmen using a few tricks to drive down the price of a trade in this is after sending the bike down to trade at my cost and with plenty of details and photographs. Left a bad taste to the point I would never buy another bike off Wellington Motorcycles and would not recommend them to anyone.
Nice selection of bikes, however, I was not overly impressed by the service. I told them that I had an issue with my bike and where the issue could be located. I asked them to confirm it and, if possible, fix it. A half hour job took and hour which I was charged $70 only to receive the news that I was right and it would cost more and a few days to fix it. In the end I bought the replacement part and put it in myself took about 30 mins to replace
Coming up from the South Island I had an issue with my bike that needed immediate attention. Rang Shane from Blenheim & he organised a repair time the morning I arrived in Wellington. Fabulous shop great range of motorcycles with excellent service. Thanks so much guys for getting me in the road again.
I was looking to buy a bike I'm from Napier drove down on a weekend ,I new what bike I wanted ,i went in had a look around it and clint walked over.i told him I would like to test ride the bike ,it was his salesmanship was why I got the bike plus I got $1500.00 worth of extras as well. Thanks Clint for making the process so easy. I loving my new Indian scout bobber .
Honestly one of the best shops around, straight up and friendly. Amazing help and support for returning riders. Brilliant staff, worked together to get me a great package. Cannot reccomned enough.
While I'm sure the quality of repairs and maintenance is satisfactory, I refuse to ever go back to Wellington Motorcycles. I took my bike here for some non-mechanical repairs after a drop. I was quoted a price that was completely out of proportion to what I believed would be a quick job. As it is, I took my bike to another local mechanic and the price was less than half of what Wellington Motorcycles quoted me. Unfortunately when I questioned why their quote was so exorbitant, the person I was dealing with could not give me a satisfactory answer. I feel that Wellington Motorcycles charges unfairly and refuse to ever come back here.
