It was noisy, fun, plenty of choices of food and I loooovvveeeed the commentator, he very much added to the atmosphere of the night! Awesome night out to experience
Went to the Speedway tonight. Perfect weather for the fireworks event they had. Spectacular show. 17 minutes of fantastic fireworks. Loved it. Well organised as always. plenty of security and eyes everywhere to feel like it was family friendly and safe. Loos were clean. 2 blocks of loos either side of the track. Great racing skills on display and just enough bumps and and such to keep it more exciting. Price of admission was well worth a full night of fun. They have food trucks and coffee. No alcohol, but that was fine. Totally recommend. Waiting for the demolition derby coming up.
Awesome place for a family night out. Whether you're a motorsport enthusiast or not this is very entertaining.nWith fast paced racing with lots of action, there is hardly any time spent watching nothing at allnTips: this place can get cold and windy. Dress warm or at least pack some warn clothes. Bring a blanket. Wear sunglasses more for the dirt/dust that gets flicked up from the racing. Bring earmuffs/earplugs for the kids.nYou can take food in so if you are on a budget Bring a picnic dinner or pizzas from domino's. While there are multiple food and drink vendors around the speedway it can make for an expensive outing.nBest events to go to in the season would be the sprint cars, demolition derby and fireworks night.
Always a great family night out. Heaps of entertainment and food, mixed with the smell of high octane fuel. Crashes, bashes and smashes. The speed, the noise, once you have been to one of these events you will never forget it. Demo derbies are a particular highlight, definitely one to put on your bucket list. The annual guy fawkes fireworks display is also a great event that shouldn't be missed.
If spending $30 for an adult and $10 for a kid over 10 under 10 is free and then watching a whole bunch of very noisy, sooped up lawn mowers racing around a track and flicking up mud and spending crazy prices for average food that you have to wait ages for - is your thing, then this is good. Heaps of parking and seating and different food options.
