Craig is a real legend for the work he does: giving healthcare and aroha to unwell manu in addition to his normal job. I discovered a sick duck in a stream in Tawa. I bundled her up and drove her to see Craig. I was truly impressed by the operation that he has set up at his place. If you ever find a bird in distress in Wellington, give Craig a call and consider donating to this worthy cause!
I found a gorgeous coast gull that had been badly injured by a car so managed to get her to the bird rehab centre and Craig was just amazing. He took us and Penny the gull inside and treated her straight away. He was so professional and gentle with her, he knew what was wrong straight away and how he could help. We got to look around the hospital, say hi to the birds and learn all about the place and the story of how he decided to open it. Just incredible! I’m so thankful Craig was able to help Penny. What an incredible guy. Thank you Craig!
We found a sparrow on the road that had been clipped by a car. We called Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust and Craig said to bring it in. Craig and the team got the bird the medical treatment it needs. We were particularly moved by the fact that they take all birds in no matter how common. Craig said “Every bird deserves a chance at life. It shouldn’t matter what breed it is. We’ll help any bird we can”.
Was really touched by the care and knowledge of craig, me and a friend took an injured bird in and was so happy to hear ot would happily make a full recovery.nHighly reccomend this bussiness.nThank you again craig
