Really well maintained gardens with a great variety. Plenty of spots to have a family picnic, either seated or sat on a blanket. Highly recommend grabbing some fish and chips before coming down here in the evening with the family. Surprisingly quiet as well
Beautifully kept, gorgeous wee gardens in the heart of Richmond. Backs onto the Jimmy creek trail to walk up the stream to the forest. Toilets along the way and dog friendly. Easy walking just watch for tree roots in the forest areas. It's gorgeous and breath of fresh air that makes you forget your so close to town. Their magnolias are stunning in spring.
Nice small garden well maintained. Visited in winter and could see the plantings all done for a great spring display. Would be a great park for the locals to come and picnic at but not sure worth a look for tourists. Good display in the hothouse and the old gaol building incorporated into the area.
Real gem in the heart of Richmond. This little park is a treasure. There are walks, loos, a fernery, very attractive beds of flowers and the old Richmond gaoll!
Nice place to go for walks .. close to town yet so serene and peaceful..
