Great we saw wekas, bird houses, fossils we did the kiwi guardian trail so we can get a medal for our son. He loved crossing streams. I recommend this bush walk.
Lovely walk with access to higher tracks. Please note the main entrance is on Hill Street. There is a narrow steep path down from Milne place between numbers 6 & 10. This is not well marked and Google maps shows it entering through private properties further up the culdesac. Do not follow incorrect directions through private property!
Bit Rocky for a toddler and need shoes to get wet, lots of shade though
Don’t be put off by the entrance, it’s actually a really nice reserve. Follows the creek up through loads of native bush. Heaps of native birds flying around, great place
Great fun for everyone, pretty much all kid friendly
