Pluses: location, good wifi, good lighting, clean.nnCons: no fridge in room, no soundproofing very old building.nnAnd the main reason I would not recommend it, nor stay there again? Being kept awake all night by a low battery smoke detector.nnAnd no refund received.
Beautiful cozy colonial style hotel. We had the family suite with our two young boys. Cozy room although spent most of the time in the lovely shared lounge, living & shared kitchen. The boys were in and out of the spa pool & pool. Michell & the other staff were super welcoming & helpful. Will definitely come back!
Stumbled across this most beautiful hotel accidentally on my way south. It has everything you could want and more! Lovely large but homely kitchen and living room spaces with very comfortable sofas, also pleasantly surprised to find they had a swimming pool and hot tub!! Super lovely staff and nice bed and toilet /shower with toiletries provided.

We had the most amazing time at Warkworth lodge, the experience was unreal. The staff were so accommodating, Michelle is quite simply just amazing. We had our bridal party stay here and we used their facilities to get ready. Having the top floor for the bridal party and one of the rooms down the bottom for the men was the perfect mix! Highly recommend, and it was so affordable for such a large group. The pool area was so amazing to relax in, the night prior and it’s local to the supermarket and a decent pub! Always a perk. We definitely will be back.
