Prepaid for two nights prior to viewing motel. Never again.. w ill not refund second night paid for but unused. Adjacent to busy intersection withstate highway.Constant noise all night. No cooking facilities. Expected to wash dishes ib bathroom basin,which is hardly hygienic. No place to put flannel and soap in the grubby shower cubicle. Torn curtain. Table so sticky we had to put newspaper over it before using. Dangerous access stairs. General neglect and and in need of refurbishment.
We felt that $200 we we paid for our unit was a bit excessive. The unit is in need of a revamp - surface of kitchen bench is worn and rough. Other paintwork needs to refreshed. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and good quality tea! Please update your units!
What you want from a motel; good sized rooms, all the right things in your bathroom and kitchenette, quite, comfy and helpful staff.
Very old place. Clean beds but the rooms are run down. The room we had needs a bathroom overhaul. Not enough electrical plugs.
Don’t stay here.nReason 1: Room, including kitchenette, bathroom and soft furnishings infested with cockroaches see photos. They filled the kitchen and bathroom sinks, crawled over my water bottle, and joined us on the sofa.nReason 2: According to our accommodation neighbours, cockroaches were also present in their rooms.nReason 3: The room was not clean. Floors were dirty, couch felt grimy.nReason 4: Brought this to owners attention and her response was “you have the choice to leave” - not an ideal option as we were part of a large party voluntary organisation gathering for an annual event. She also refused our suggested request for a partial refund, as we had already used utilities and linen.nReason 5: Owner accused us of being ‘aggressive guests’ simply for bringing these things to her attention.
