I arrived quite late at night and didn’t know what to do, but there was an intercom system so I was able to access my room without any problems. On first glance it looked quite nice but the longer I stayed in the room the more I saw all of the Issues. It is as if they have tried to update it but not finished so these. Gib showing on the walls, an unpainted ceiling, cobwebs etc. The bathroom sink wasn’t cleaned from other guests and it was quite cold prior to using the heat pump. There’s even a decent dent in the wall. It is Certainly not a high class facility. Bring a sleeping mask if you have any problems with the light as the curtains are not sufficient by any means and the bed sinks with you so with two people there’d be serious roll together. Toilet drips, is loud and ia little smelly. I won’t be back
I recently stayed a few nights I thoroughly enjoyed it . the room was clean right on the intersection but the noise did not bother me , close to shops nice walking distance , fresh towels ,clean bed ,tidy room , great price for the amount of people we had to accommodate awesome value thanks Walton park would definitely stay again
COCKROACHES, sticky floors, broken furniture, single pillow per bed, queen bed that rolls into the middle, grimy cutlery & crockery, all had to be washed before use. Sheets looked clean, but duvet had cigarette burns in it. My son had a cockroach crawling on his bed in the morning. More huge cockroaches in the kitchen in the morning. Broken flooring in the kitchen and cracked window in the bathroom.nnReception polite and helpful when booking, the best part of our stay.
Prepaid for two nights prior to viewing motel. Never again.. w ill not refund second night paid for but unused. Adjacent to busy intersection withstate highway.Constant noise all night. No cooking facilities. Expected to wash dishes ib bathroom basin,which is hardly hygienic. No place to put flannel and soap in the grubby shower cubicle. Torn curtain. Table so sticky we had to put newspaper over it before using. Dangerous access stairs. General neglect and and in need of refurbishment.
Very old place. Clean beds but the rooms are run down. The room we had needs a bathroom overhaul. Not enough electrical plugs.
