Warkworth Hotel

Came for coffee time and wanted to see what is what like in such a historic looking building. Inside was fancy and boutique. The staff were attentive and the food was quite good. There was a little bit of pressure there whilst taking photos as to not obstruct the waiters. I would come back to try their cocktails and dinner items if I were not driving.

I challenge you to find better fish and chips in New Zealand! And they are GF/DF!! I recommend having it with a glass of Mumm Marlborough bubbles! You just can’t beat a walk along the Mahurangi River until you build up an appetite and then a relaxing lunch at Warkworth Hotel

The venue is beautiful, cocktails are delicious, the staff are nice, and while the food is enjoyable, an hour-long wait after ordering really detracts from the overall experience.

Your team made celebrating my daughter’s birthday extra special! The great service, food and warm atmosphere made this a really good experience. We left feeling that we will surely return again!!
