Bam Boo - Asian Canteen

This place is amazing. We were on a tour and stopped for lunch. I had the mussels in cream sauce which was excellent. My wife had the prawns, which she liked as well.nnThe service was great and the food came out fast, without sacrificing quality. We had the honor of having Marcha the owner serve us. She was very pleasant and took pride in her restaurant.

Loved it! Seriously delicious food full of flavour and colour! Attentive and very friendly staff, a beautifully decorated venue with a great view overlooking the river. GREAT gluten free options for my coeliac husband!

Absolutely loved our experience here! Had the beef fried rice, salt and pepper squid, cucumber salad and miso banoffee wantons. Everything was fresh and delicious!nnThe staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were seated near the partially open windows overlooking the wharf. It was just so beautiful.nnThoroughly recommend and will be back again.

Wow. What a great wee restaurant. Of course you go for the food and we were not disappointed in any of our selections. Great sized portions for sharing and the taste was some of the best Asian Fusion we have had anywhere which left a clean feel on the palate long after finishing.Then there is the service. Our young but experienced waitress was a delight to deal with as was the owner. Easy to deal with and made our night a lot of fun. The owners' attention to detail in making the restaurant a truly asian feel is to be commended. If you get the chance when you visit Warkworth - don't hesitate to book!

Just had dinner at Bamboo Restaurant and it was top notch.nnThe food was excellent, the service was friendly from start to finish, and it’s always great to support a local family-owned business doing things so well.nnFor anyone who might be thinking it could be “too Asian” for the family, don’t worry at all. They were really accommodating with spice levels, and they have great kids’ options too. The kids’ meals were spot on with chicken, chips and broccoli, which made it easy for everyone to enjoy the night.nnThe duck pancakes were awesome, and the freshly prepared tuna dish was another highlight. Everything came out tasting fresh, full of flavour, and really well presented.nnGreat atmosphere, great people, and seriously good food. We’ll definitely be back.
