The Wandle River is a river of the north Canterbury Region of New Zealand's South Island. It flows generally south from the slopes of Mount Lyford to reach the Mason River 10km northeast of Waiau. The Mount Lyford Alpine Resort lies close to the river's source.

Beautiful, sun shining on a cold day by the River Wandle, Merton High Street.
The River Wandle, named after the settlement of the community which became known as Wandsworth, is the largest river in the South West region of London, UK. It stretches 9 miles through the London boroughs of Merton, Sutton and Croydon. Wild fowls often swim pass in small groups of 3s which you can see through swampy foliage. Nice for a summer stroll or when the weather gets warm in the Spring time.
Walking along the river Wandle in Hackbridge was a wonderful experience. Herons, ducks, geese and cormorants, plus foxes along the way.
Nice walk up to Abbey Mills for sunday roast. You can stop of in loads of different bars and restaurants.
A fabulous walk or cycle through beautiful parks and offering lovely views.
