It took millions of years for nature to create the towering mountains and for glaciers to carve the deep fjords. It will take you only a few hours to enjoy this magnificent scenery with one of our many flight options.

By joining a Wanaka Flightseeing scenic flight we guarantee a comfortable window seat from which you can marvel at the breathtaking scenery. Our two-way headsets allow your experienced pilot to share their extensive knowledge of the area during the flight.

Our most popular flight is the Fly/Cruise/Fly into Milford Sound that offers a relaxing cruise on the world-famous fjord of Milford Sound.

Wanaka Airport is a Queenstown Lakes District Council-owned facility which is contracted to Queenstown Airport Corporation to manage. Historically, it's been most well known for the Warbirds Over Wanaka International Air Show & the Warbirds and Wheels visitor attraction but there are more than 11 businesses with around 250 people working in and around the airport on day-to-day operations."
