Toy and Transport Museum, Wanaka

This museum was so cool to visit. Walking around, we were able to see how the toys used to look decades ago and how it’s changed since then. We also saw so many older vehicles - from tricycles, your typical day to day cars, to fire engines, and even airplanes. It was a really fun experience for young and old.

Amazing collection. Be even more amazing if some time put into better curation and organising the exhibits better.

Bigger and better than I was expecting. Great activity any day but especially on a rainy day like today. The toy collection was awesome and pretty cool to see some of the toys I remembered having as a kid still in pristine condition. Loads of cars boats trucks and planes to check out.

Will definitely visit again asap. So much to see. A true gem.

I was so excited to go here and it absolutely did not disappoint. So many cools displays showing off retro toys and cars. Definitely recommend going if you have kids

Fun place to visit to feel nostalgic, lots of older vehicles , planes , toys and cool old technology. The toy shop is fantastic also, do if you have kids, bring some money :
