Haven't been for a long while not as many store vendors as there used to be. Still you can buy food or fresh vegs and fruit here
Ohhhhhh the fried bread from Waka was so yummy. Nice and hot the added touch with real butter is great.nnTried the chop suey too from another vendor man they go well together.
My partner and I went to the little community market that is held behind the waitangirua shops every Saturdays. : Great music, friendly community, although limited a good selection of food, fruit and veges, clothing stalls etc options to choose from. :
