I have visited Wellington many times, but this time I chose to explore the Kmart located in North City Shopping Centre, Porirua. I was amazed to discover that it’s a huge shopping centre with a wide variety of stores. I enjoyed browsing through Kmart’s large selection, especially in homeware and clothing. The food court offered a great mix of cuisines and was a pleasant place to sit and eat. I also enjoyed visiting Farmers and exploring other retail stores. The centre was clean, well-organised, and easy to navigate. Overall, it was a satisfying shopping experience with everything in one place. There were also plenty of comfortable seating areas and accessible facilities, which made the visit more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, and the entire space felt welcoming for families and solo visitors alike. I will definitely return on future trips.
North City Shopping Centre is a great place for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The mall is clean, well-maintained, and offers a wide variety of stores to suit different needs and budgets. The staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly. Parking is convenient, and there are plenty of food options available. A perfect destination for spending quality time with family and friends. Highly recommended!
Nice place to shop, eat, play and chill in Porirua.nNot many stores but at least it’s a shopping mall. The only other shopping mall in Wellington is Queensgate in Lower Hutt .nUsually use Kmart, theatre, food court, Farmers and banks. There is free parking.
North City is convenient and has a good mix of stores, supermarket and food options, which makes it easy to get everything done in one trip. Parking is generally straightforward and the location is handy for Porirua locals.nnThat said, some of the common areas feel a bit dated and aren’t always as clean as they could be, especially during busy periods. With a bit more attention to upkeep and modernisation, it could be a much nicer space overall.nnStill a useful and well-located shopping centre, just with room for improvement.
By far THE BEST mall in Wellington region. Was clean and well kept overall as well as having a unique atmosphere compared to other malls in the area. Would definitely go again!
