I am very disappointed with the meal I got tonight.nThey messed up on the biggest part of the order - I ordered 10 crumbed scallops which costed $29 by themselves, they came to me battered, overcooked and falling apart. Genuinely couldn't eat them at all which is such a shame.nThe pricing for each item has been slowly getting worse as in more expensive, the atmosphere is unbearable to be around and the wait times are ridiculous.nI do not recommend eating there at all.nIt is such a shame - it used to be pretty good.nTime to step up your fish n chip game guys!nI will not be eating there again.
Ordered my chips over the phone, ready in 10min. Freshly hot, tasty fish n chips on the beach. What more could you ask for. Don’t listen to those losers given out 1 stars.
Edit: It is with great sadness that I have to downgrade my review massively, after having been a loyal customer for almost two years. I get it, many business are struggling and reside to hidden inflation. Smaller portions are bad enough, but to compromise on quality is the worst. Half the size fish and fries is hard to accept. The chicken tenders used to be real chicken breast, now the are tasteless mixture of chicken flavour and cardboard. The chicken nuggets are even worse, some beige coloured something. If businesses start to cut corners, it ain’t end well. My advice, either revert back to your good quality and increase prices, loosing some of your customers, or you loose ALL.nn2nd time we enjoyed fish & chips, and chicken tenders. Best fried food we had in all NZ in 2022. Will come again
Gurnard was yummy not too much batter. Scoop of chips was enough for two. The wine gums I bought were so old was like chewing tyres.
The best fnc locally. In our experience the fish has always been fresh, chips delicious and the service is good. Thanks guys, we'll be back
