Standard Waihi Beach fare: burgers, fish & chips, and cabinet food. Main food good enough but the chips/fries had been sitting for at least 30 minutes. Fries should always be less than 10 minutes old.nnAlso ordering system is weak. There is no one person to make sure an entire order is fulfilled and/or in the proper delivery sequence.nnThen again restaurants in Waihi Beach have a hard time staying in business and this might be the best that can be done.
A charming little restaurant in Waihi Beach that opens to serve breakfast, lunch & dinner.nnThe menu is quite adequate, however i was a bit disappointed for not having a more seafood focused menu being a beachside town. Nevertheless the food served were tasty, fresh and portions were generous.nnWe had the seafood basket, seafood chowder, the lambshank for two and a side of seasonal greens which basically was a small bowl of baby spinach. As said earlier, the seafood were fresh and the chef paid respect to that. The lamb was soft and falling of the bone.
Food was nice but the prices are high for what you get. Service was mediocre, it took a while for someone to notice us. It was nice to sit outside under the veranda.
Located next to Waihi Beach, tasty dishes and staff ok. My wife ordered a burger and it looked great, thick meat and generous fries came along. Chicken pie was also delicious, but not recommended for children, it was too spicy for them. My pesto pasta was awesome, good amount, well seasoned.
Laid back place to get a good breakfast and coffee. Great service and the food was delicious.
