We love our kiwi music. Whether it's Sunday Sessions in the garden bar, local acts on the main stage or chilled sessions on the bistro deck, Waihi Beach Hotel is a must for music entertainment!

Our takeaway store offers coffee and fresh, healthy food for the beach - as well as our award winning gelato.

Popped in for dinner tonight whilst on holiday. Had pizzas and seafood basket. Great quality food and service!! The two young waitress staff worked like soldiers and kept a busy dining room happy. Will definitely be back, great work team!!
We had an incredible time at the Waihi Beach Hotel! The staff were lovely and it was a great vibe. We were four young girls travelling from Melbourne! Colin the security guard went above and beyond and even gave us some extra coins to play pool! He was so lovely and welcoming! 10/10
Loved the vibe in the restaurant and the service was pretty good, arancini balls, pasta and Chicken & brie pizza is NOT to be missed!! Sadly the steak was, super super average and not the advertised cut of steak which was super disappointing given the price - would have preferred to have been told they had run out if that was the case. Menu states scotch but was def sirloin over cooked it actually came out in two pieces haha- we wouldn't have ordered had we known that. BUT overall we would go back, the place is gorgeous, comfortable and the other 3 items of food we ordered were to die for. The Arancini balls were out of this world amazing we were tempted to order some to take home, and the staff were super lovely.
Young girl behind the bar Jan 2nd approx 1-1:30 was an absolute legend, 10/10. Incredibly helpful and a great conversationist. Other dude was a bit of a let down, allowed me to order a drink with him, then immediately walked out the back and gestured for the girl to help me? I apologise in advance if he was new or in training, but there’s no point being behind the bar if you can’t get a cider out of the fridge and hand it to a customer. Wish all the best for her and any future places she works at, Definitely a real asset :
This place was so disappointing, had been here 3 years ago and it was exceptional. Tonight the food was the most disappointing part. The pasta was confusing, wholegrain mustard, button mushrooms and blue cheese? The steak meal was over cooked and the potato rosti was a piece of flat cardboard chip. There was no drinks menu so we had to get up and look in the fridge every time we wanted another drink. Sooo overpriced for terrible quality food.
Booked to stay 3 nights, only stayed one. there was noone around to answer questions in person or via phone. No crockery, in cupboards. the decor very dated, however, the place was clean. not surprised there was noone else booked in.Service: 1/5
Went to the restaurant last week.Great vibes.Received a very warm welcome. Food and service was amazing.Loved the passion fruit daiquiri. A special thanks to the manager to made our evening memorable. Will be visiting soon. A thumbs up to the new owners and team.
