Menu Hours:
We are open 7 DAYS from 8am till late with our lunch menu being available from 8am till 2:45pm and dinner menu from 5pm.
Cabinet food is available from 2:45 till 3:30pm and the snack menu is available from 3:30pm onwards

Story

Flatwhite has been an iconic part of the Waihi Beach community for over 10 years! In 2015 we underwent MASSIVE reconstruction resulting in a stunning beachfront restaurant with gorgeous facilities – bar areas, decks, AMAZING views, great food and beautiful coffee. The venue also PERFECT for weddings!
We have it all and we are open 7 DAYS from 8am till late.

This cafe located in front of the beach absolutely amazing view with the fascinating atmosphere. The food we ordered was delicious and also coffee was great too. But the customer service wasn't good. who served us the waitresses was all right other server wasn't. I think the customer service is more important than food quality for the impression of the restaurant to motivate to visit again. But sorry this cafe food and the view was nice but wouldn't want to visit again. Just once is enough. It is a shame.
Nice cafe by the beach. I really like the ambiance and location. Foods are superb. Staff are very attentive and friendly. They even updated us that the pizza will take more 10mins than the usual wait. Service was great! Will Definitely come back here.
Absolutely LOVED this place. Not only did we get the most amazing food and drinks, the staff were lovely, the view was incredible as your right on the beach, it was just pure heaven. Loads of food to choose from to suit every persons taste, best food and drink ive had in such a long time! Hugely appreciate this place and recommend to all. Will definitely return!!!
Nice Cafe in Waihi Beach waterfront. Very popular and always busy. Day menu had lots of variety and there is also a Kid's menu. Drinks came out promptly after ordering, followed by the Kid's meals, then mains. Very tasty and good value portions. Indoor and outdoor seating options
Such a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy. Helpful, friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. My lamb meal was not great - lamb was tough and undercooked, salad very small. But my daughters ordered a pizza and a burger and both enjoyed their meals. Dietary restrictions: Dairy- free - great to find a dairy free pizza option
This place was recommended to us twice on our road trip when we mentioned we were going to Waihi Beach and I can see why - what a spot overlooking the beach! The coffee was definitely worth the walk from where we were staying & the food was delish! We will be back!
Superb location right on beach. But very busy and crowded,which is why I didn't give 5 stars for atmosphere. I was part of a large group which the staff very professionally managed to seat in a packed building. Waitress went of her way to check if I had got my coffee yet. Excellent service. Yes I would go again but I go outside peak busy time.
Food was great. Most of the staff were lovely except for the guy David who prances around like he owns the place. He was extremely rude to several of the elderly residents I’d brought for afternoon tea. Will still continue to come here as enjoy the view and food however word of mouth promotes a business unfortunately one person can also spoil it.
Absolutely stunning meal: delicious, well presented and staff were friendly. Bookings essential for dinner but first come for brunch/lunch. Good coffee, the feijoa cider was great! Beef carpaccio was define! Highly recommended which is why the place is so damn busy all the time!
Friendly service and stunning view. Full of people. Had to wait for a seat even at 2PM. A great place to enjoy you meals with this breathtaking view.
