Wadestown Takeaway

The last few times I've been to the takeaway I've been disappointed. 1st time Crispy Fried Chicken was anything but crispy and dry as a bone! Not wanting to give up, I tried a family fish and chips meal, equally as dry and chips that were bordering on burnt. Definitely looking for a new favourite Chinese Takeaway!

We orderer two scoops of chips and they were super over cooked and oily which meant we basically had a handful of chips and had to throw the rest out - $4.40 per scoop. Feeling let down a bit and their oil definately needs changing - not good!

Ordered the Kun Pao squid it had only 6 tiny pieces of squid and just filled with onions & carrots. Not spicy and almost tasteless. A rip off for $17.50. Most disappointing. Don’t ever order it.

The chicken, pineapple and cashew, THE BEST I've ever had!!! Worth the hour long trip to get from Aotea to Wadestown just to get that.Food: 5/5

Chips were burnt oil tasted like it hasn't been changed in awhile fried rice had no flavour this place is not nice

I love chicken fried rice, and they make as good as any other, however the tub was not filled - that’s either an accident or deliberate- either way they have a quality issue and that’s me finished. Phoenix Ngaio is where I’ll be going from now on!

I ordered from here via UberEats, and when the delivery driver did not pick up the order, the owner of the restaurant personally delivered the food to me. The serving size was big, so amazing value for money. The beef fried noodles were great, but the Singapore fried noodles were not the best as the flavour was sadly too overpowering. Overall, would order from here again.
