VisionWest is an absolutely fantastic caring place for all walks of life and situations. The staff are awesome and treat you with dignity and respect. The have family services, counseling, budgeting, curtain bank, uniform bank, food bank, emergency/short term/long term housing, training and a community meal. They care about people and are happy to help. It is easy to get there walking from the train station in Glen Eden, there is also a bus stop outside. This is the number 1 caring centre in the west.

Plenty of car parks. Very welcoming. Always a good experience when visiting Vision West. They have lots of different support for various help needed.

I went to inquire about second hand shop within the area I was invited to lunch yummy barbecue and then informed if I need a food parcel I was thrilled especially seeing the fruit and vegetables Thoroughly enjoyed the support from the workers Down to earth and non judgmental and professional support staff

I tried for two hours to get assistance on their phone turned up to there to see what the go is there was food going off in the sun… there was one guy there who couldn’t help but worked there.. absolutely useless!! Just another Māori scheme where the ones at the top get fat off the fat of the lamb I’m disgusted and ashamed to be Māori .. and they’re open to five pm where fe they all down at the bloody pokies I bet… and I am Māori and I’m ashamed of these illicit!!

This place and all the staff are the best. Each time I go there I feel less judged and more confident. Much blessed. Bless you Vision West.

Always helpful, friendly staff, make you welcome give them a try. The change to obtaining your food parcel is quite good, you can select basic items, and then get topped up with frozen and fruits, I'm my opinion works well.

We wish to wholeheartedly thank Danielle of the Food bank today for her caring and loving support, smile and help she and her young apprentice today. She not only answered our questions for help but walked us to key people, then had a colleague make a phone to arrange an impromptu meeting, as we were lost. We had a positive meeting and she had assisted us with a food parcel and we left with a task to do and food for our family. A call back was completed and relevant questions answered thus we all are currently moving forward. Again Thank you Danielle and Vision West.
