I ordered the pasta of the day which on the day I visited was a basil-based pasta with almonds and goat cheese,and it was the best meal I had during my 17-day trip to New Zealand! The beautiful view of the ocean right in front of you and the friendly staff made the experience even better. If you visit Waiheke, I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

An excellent dining experience - would highly recommend a visit!nnWe arrived on a Saturday evening as a group of six, and this restaurant was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our recent trip to Waiheke.nnWe started with several shared starters: arancini, patatas bravas, grilled prawns, and chipa Argentinian cheese bites. The presentation of the dishes was lovely, and each dish was vibrant and colourful. My favourite starter was the grilled prawns—perfectly cooked and paired with a tangy coriander chutney that was surprisingly delightful I’m usually not a fan of coriander, so I was very impressed.nnFor the mains, we ordered the eye fillet steak, lamb rump, and the pasta of the day. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our requested medium rare. The pasta of the day was a green pea pasta with rocket, featuring a creamy sauce that was rich and delicious, though I found the rocket a bit overpowering. Still, it was an enjoyable dish.

Wonderful restaurant. I would give 6 out of 5 stars. Especially for differentiation to other 5-star-rated restaurants.nnI ate Eye fillet steak and it was amazing soft. I enjoyed so much and it was worth the 42 NZD. I prefer better quality to just a big portion for a minimum price.nnAdditional, the view is great but I especially enjoyed the art. Wonderful pictures New Zealand painters like Pat Hanly, Gordon Crook and Max Gimblett. And I got some nice information about those artists. So it’s not only the food but also the atmosphere.nnAbsolute recommendation!

We dined here with a group of friends, 8 people in total. From the time we arrived the staff were very friendly and attentive. They literally made everything possible as they could to accomodate our requests. All staff were very courteous especially we had Caylee, Alan and Boris who were very professional in their customer service. The food was an absolute delight. The flavours were so balanced and every dish we tried was so special in the way they prepared. The ultimate compliment to the dining was the mesmerising views of the bay over Oneroa beach. We certainly had a great time at the Vino Vino. Thank you

Non-pretentious menu with classic NZ ingredients cooked superbly with South American twist. Excellent wine and beer choices from the Island and around the world, all with one of the best views on the island overlooking Oneroa Beach.
