The coffee was lovely. The presentation is lovely. And lovely design inside and out. I was excited to finally find a cafe that does gf etc. And wanted to support local.nHowever, because of the customer service it makes me not want to come back.nI was new to the Hauraki and the girl serving me seemed impatient at my dotting around my first time admiring;nI enjoyed the cat, and the outside garden and coffee.nI like to relax at cafes and when I know it's good I go back and recommend it.nAnother time I was accused of opening an oil product on the sales table, and told off after I admitted I smelt and tried it.nI understand people might tamper with 'new' products but I did not this one it was already opened perhaps why it was on the sales, but at least offer testers..instead, I was reprimanded.nHowever after the attitude and being told off it made me not feel welcome.nSo for this reason, I avoid it.nPerhaps the manager or owner can talk to the staff
Upon stumbling upon this coffee shop during my search, I found it to be a commendable choice! It's a delightful spot to savor a delicious cup of coffee accompanied by delectable sweets like their irresistible brownies and cakes. Additionally, the abundance of street parking nearby adds convenience to the overall experience. While it may not have been my ultimate discovery, it certainly stands as a solid option for a cozy coffee break with tempting treats.
Can not personally comment on the food but everyone in our group loved theirs. And some have put pie Friday on their bucket list to come back.nThank you so much for having our little bus load today. Coping well with our unscheduled visit.nLovely friendly staff made us all feel welcome.
Hidden Gem. Full of quirky surprises. Like a museum full of old school kitchen ware. Really clever.
What a cool find in Te Aroha! We had amazing food and great coffee. The crispy cauliflower was perfect and came with the best hummus. The flatbread were awesome and had quinoa and seeds in the dough base, super yum. Chunky thick cut chips to die for.
