We visited the cute little town of Te Aroha and had delicious, hot coffee at Ironique. It is a popular place among locals. Well worth a visit when you explore the town and need a rest stop.
Great food! My kid loves the egg Benedict. My pasta of the day is exceptional. Coffee is great as well.

Stopped in for a cuppa. Place was pretty dirty, lots of tables needing clearing I counted seven. Chose a cleared table which needed a wipe down. Husband asked for a cloth to wipe the table, was told they would come and do it for us which was great, but they didn't come so dirty table it was. They weren't especially busy, maybe three other tables with people sitting at them and staff weren't rushed so no excuse for the mess really.
Nice Friendly team here, very proud of the town and also pushed me to see the toilets here apparently the woodworking and fittings are of local talent and very interesting
