We are veterinarians based in Wellington with a special interest and additional expertise in treating eye diseases in animals. This page is primarily for veterinarians who are interested in case based and practical discussions in veterinary ophthalmology.
Dr Kellam Bayley BVSc MVSc(dist) CertVOphthal and Dr Amy O'Sullivan BVSc MANZCVS founded Veterinary Ophthalmic Services (VOS) to provide a high quality ophthalmic referral service to New Zealand veterinarians and their clients.
Kellam has recently completed his European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists residency and is working to soon attain specialist level qualification. On completion of this qualification he will be one of only 3 specialist veterinary ophthalmologists in New Zealand. Amy is Kellam's partner, business manager, and provides additional veterinary support in clinic where needed.
VOS is now back in Wellington and will be operating year-around, mainly from PetVet's Silverstream clinic. We look forward to working with you to provide the latest diagnostic and treatment options to your clients and their pets. We also look forward to using this page to share some interesting cases, discussion points and clinical gems with our colleagues with an interest in ophthalmology.
