"A Vegetarian Cafe/restaurant & Deli in Bristol, located on the Harbourside. We are on the upper level of the Millennium promenade on the corner under the block of flats, please call us if you cannot find us. We sell vegan options, hot and cold seasonal dishes available to have in or take away bring your own containers as there is no take away packaging available if you forget you can rent or buy one of our tiffins. 5 stars for the guys this morning for an excellent breakfast experience ; Vegan banana bread toasted with peanut butter I wonder if I can review once or more times. Well, 5 stars for every time I’ve been there so far. Clean place, good atmosphere, quality food, kind attitudes. Yes. The Thai green curry with sticky rice I had a few weeks back was amazing! So very tasty.
I was honestly pretty disappointed with this place. There were only two small tables inside and despite there being plenty of seating outside, it was too windy and cold to sit there. I was expecting there to be plenty of vegan options but it turned out most things had egg or cheese or some sort of dairy. This was really disappointing and totally unnecessary. So many of the options could have been made without the dairy. Also the staff weren't confident as to whether the peanut free salad may actually contain peanuts, and given the only other salad option also had peanuts in, I was not able to have either of these peanut allergy, obviously!. Not only this but there seemed to be a strange atmosphere amongst the staff. The woman who I assume was the owner seemed passive aggressive towards her staff and aloof to the customers. I almost felt apologetic for asking to pay or where we could find a toilet. We ordered coffee and cake after lunch but the banana bread was almost comically dry, and not toasted, despite them confirming they would toast it. It was rock solid like a brick. Maybe this place has newly opened and they are still finding their feet. Some aspects were great, like the aesthetics of the place and the flavours of some of the foods we ordered. But overall I was very disappointed and hope that they make more effort to make their customers feel welcome and include more vegan options, given the name and ethos of the place.
Fantastic find with delicious homemade organic food, located on Bristol quay. I went there for lunch and was really impressed to find a vast array of creative veg and vegan options. The staff were very friendly and all support the ethos of local produce and minimal waste. Really recommend!
Love this place! Lovely relaxed vibe and friendly service. Their hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve tasted!: My husband and I live very locally and often grab a takeaway from here as it’s so reasonably priced and conveniently open til 7. It’s very healthy food, which is great if you just don’t have time to cook, but want a nourishing meal!
Healthy food at a reasonable price. It is lovely to sit outside when the sun is out. Eating yummy food that is good for you and watching the boats go by- a great way to spend a lunch time. Friendly staff and their turmeric milky drink is a very warming.
Stumbled on this little kitchen shortly after it opened, headed back with a vegetarian friend a few weeks later. The food is delicious, really generous portions and lovely service. It's nice to sit outside in the sunshine too!
