Valley Vista Holiday Experience is a place to forget - forget stress, forget worries, forget anger.
Relax and unwind with a view of the beautiful Baldrock
Valley Vista.
The idea was born from many different streams of thought.
Beth always, always wanted to have a B&B as her retirement project. Barry has often spoken about ‘getting out of town’ and made tentative moves to do so. The opportunity, the reason and the will all came together around the middle of 2014. We looked at the land (almost 70 acres of it) Christmas 2014 and finally, after much tribulation, had a Sales & Purchase agreement by May 2015.
It’s been a long road getting to Valley Vista and there’s still a long way to go. The idea of Valley Vista is a holiday experience with a difference. In time, we will offer 2 B&B guest rooms; 2 Glamping sites; 2 Introduction to Camping sites and Family / Adventure camping, choosing the experience you want.
This year, Summer 2015/2016 we have only minimal facilities available.
Introduction to Camping: 2 sites available.
Introduction to Camping is exactly as it sounds. Never been camping before? Not sure you’ll like it? One of the family has camped, the other not? Try this! On your arrival, the tent will erected, airbeds will be in the tent, as will a camp kitchen and gas cooker/s. There will be a table and chairs and other camping ‘essentials’. All you need to bring is your food and your bedding (sleeping bags, pillows etc). Use of an ablution block is included in the price of $70 per night for 2 adults and 2 children. Extra children $15 each per night. We’re very flexible so please call if you don’t fit any of these configurations. Booking essential.
Family / Adventure Camping.
Bring your own everything, including a portable toilet and your own shower tent, solar shower etc.
We will provide water and plenty of fun places for you to erect your tent. Priced to please at $30 per site.
We have do have a couple of sites with access to ablution facilities. Please call for pricing. These are a little experimental so far.
If you have horses and would like to bring them along, there is plenty of room on the farm. However, it is currently ring fenced only, so you will need some method of containment
