Stayed for one night in a private double room with shared bathroom. Rooms are clean, comfy, supplied with towels, locker and a television. Everything was as expected. Showers are clean and up to date, bathrooms are generally good but one of the toilets in the shared bathroom needed serious clogging. Otherwise, our stay was exactly what we were hoping for. Location was conveniently located downtown. There's tons of games, common space, and kitchen area to make use of. The staff was incredibly helpful and informative. Would definitely stay again.
I was on my trip and had stayed for 4 night here.nThe 4 person dorm is clean and welcoming, spacious enough, provided you arent bring huge luggage.nThe location is great, located at city centre with parking area at the side paid parking, walking distance to bus stops, restaurants, bars etc, not to say that you can board the famous tram just at the side of the terrace.nThe service is so nice, all of them are helpful and friendly.nDefinitely worth a stop if you do want a good rest and meet new friends!!
I stayed at Urbanz Accommodation in Christchurch for one night in a single room with a shared bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and modern, offering excellent value for money. The room was also in great condition. However, I was dissatisfied with the check-in process. Although check-in starts at 2 PM, I arrived at 1:30 PM, clearly exhausted, and it was evident that my room was ready. Nevertheless, the receptionist made me wait until exactly 2 PM. By that time, a long queue had formed, causing many guests to wait unnecessarily. The process could be improved by allowing early check-in when rooms are available, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Cozy hostel! Quite big but you dont feel like there is too much people or that it is crowded. Just in the kitchen sometimes because its under renovation right now, but its fine outside of rush hour. The bed were comfortable and lot of spaces in the room with lookers for everyone. And the location is wonderful you are close to everything!
Stayed 1 night, here's my review.nKitchen: yesterday at dinner it was dirty as hell and poorly equipped. Even though not many people were there, there was not a single fork available, some burners for cooking didn't work and we were queuing, there were food leftovers and crumbles everywhere floor included and dishes unwashed in the sinks. I understand it's up to us guests to keep a clean environment, but the staff is also involved in the process of maintaining a certain standard.nRooms dorm 4ppl: clean, small, bunk bed a bit wobbly, it gets noisy due to probably walls on the street side very thin, some trucks woke me me up before 6am working just outside our room.nStaff at reception: friendly and helpful.nLounge: big, a little noisy at times due to music + people watching TV + people talking/playing.nLocation: really good, especially considering I had to catch an intercity bus in the morning.nToilet and showers: clean and big enough.
