A nice stadium without a provided chair, so that you can just sit or sleep on the ground to see that match. It's so convenient and easy to reach through the walk. However water is not available, you need to buy it every time. Preferably carry your own folding chair, water, alcohol or food too. During the match time, there would be food trucks and also a coffee van. A nice place to enjoy a cricket match.
The University Oval is a cricket ground located in Dunedin, New Zealand. It is one of the major cricket venues in the country and is situated at the University of Otago. The ground has hosted both domestic and international cricket matches.nnKey features of the University Oval include its picturesque setting and modern facilities. It gained Test status in 2008 when it hosted its first Test match between New Zealand and England. The ground has also been a venue for One Day Internationals ODIs and various domestic cricket competitions.nnIt's important to note that developments and events at the University Oval may have occurred after my last knowledge update in January 2022. For the latest information, I recommend checking recent sources or the official website of New Zealand Cricket.
A beautiful location to watch the cricket, especially when the Black Caps beat Australia in a game that went down to the last ball

I used to love going to the Uni Oval to watch NZ play cricket, but in recent seasons it's been more and more ambiguous to figure out how on earth to secure seats in the stands. No worries if you like the embankment, but if you prefer the stands, then consider TV instead.
