This movie theater is really cool. The decorations make it look like it's from the past, and you really get into the fact you are in a theater. I love the 8nterior of the screen rooms also it looked very classy. The screens are only average size, and for some reason the good reclining chairs were up front, too close to the screen where usually you would not want to sit, so I chose the standard seats which were perfect. I love this cinema, thought it was great! I will most certainly choose this as my go to for films while I am in Tauranga!
great place to see a movie! the recliner chairs are awesome, very comfortable! bathrooms are flash as! it's easy to sneak in your own food too because there's nobody on the door to the theater, you just walk in!
This cinema and the Manager need to get their act together bigtime, if they want people to keep coming back! Male toilets were Absolutely disgusting! Stinking urinals and paper towels all over the floor. Taps were busted and only working intimitedly. Theater seats still had popcorn all over them and cup holders sticky and wet! The headrests on the seats were nowhere near your actual head. The wrong screening times were displayed in lobby, which was confusing alot of people and when I asked 2 staff they said Oh it must not have updated from yesterday and just walked off and didn't correct it ! No one checked my ticket, confectionery badly overpriced and quality of actual movie was severely lacking. NOT GOING BACK, and will pass onto friends. Goodluck united! If I could it would be zero star.
This place looks like its from a movie, this is my preferred cinema, as its SUPER fancy, the bathrooms are covered in Marble and have built in tvs, the cinema portion it self is 2 storeys of seats, all 10 rooms are 2 storeys. even have phone chargers on the seats. tickets are $10 if your at a kids movie a kids ticket might be on sale for $2 but other wise there $5.
Didn't. Like total blackness couldn't see my band or ice cream. Movie flop. Will tell him wen see Peter. Jackson. Waste money. Avatar. Worst movie. Ever seen. Will not be recommending. No one show. A time their seats. Staff. Sack then all.
This was a great cinema. Watched Avatar 2 in the GMAX cinema here, and was very glad it existed. A great big room with a very good setup. Very nice big cinema experience!
Great cinema experience here, IMAX screen is amazing, really comfortable seating, plenty of variety with food and snacks, staff are very friendly and helpful
Fantastic cinema — one of the best I’ve seen in NZ. Can’t speak to the negative reviews; we were in the GMAX theatre and everything from the seats to the screen and sound was fantastic. Cleanliness standard was also high, and the decor unique and luxurious.
Crappiest cinemas ever! Was like there was only one speaker working and really affected the experience. Much better visiting Event Cinema at the crossing
I visited yesterday for the first time to watch Thor love and thunder in G-max with Atmos. I am not sure if it’s the film or the theatre but didn’t felt as if I am living in the scene you know what I mean Dolby designed the atmos so that you can actually feel that you are in that atmosphere. Apart from that everything is good, I like the big screen decent size, selection of food and drinks, toilets are acceptably clean, and staff are amazing. Note/tip: If you are visiting united for the first time, unlike other theatres, the doors for each screen are operated electronically - so use the switch next to the door, to enter inside.
