Story

Bayfair Shopping Centre,, is the main shopping mall in Tauranga.LocationBayfair Shopping Centre is located on the corner of Maunganui Road and Girven Road. The rear of the shopping centre backs onto Farm Road, and Jackson Street and Harris Street are located to the side of the building. It is across Maunganui Road from Omanu Golf Course, and across Girven Road from Baywave .FacilitiesBayfair has six anchor stores and is home to New Zealand's only Woolworths supermarket, which was rebranded using the Australian Woolworths logo rather than rebranding to Countdown (like all other Foodtown and Woolworths stores) because there was already a Countdown store in Bayfair. Farmers is the only part of the shopping centre (other than the carpark) to be on more than one floor. There is a large foodcourt with around a dozen food retailers.

Today at 4:00pm. With my wife we wanted to order coffees and food from Esquires Café, when I noticed the top shelf was full of dusty accumulated there above the sauces open containers and where the coffees areready be served are staging. I pointed it out to the staff there, but the manager's reaction was to yell at me teller me "yes, it's dirty up there, now are ordering anything or get out!!!" I will arrange MPI to visit the shop
Visited the shopping centre to look for nose piercings. Went to jewellery store after jewellery store. Each one stated they didn’t stock nose piercings. One store suggested a tattoo shop. Another suggested Farmers. Poor choices and made me feel cheap. I found a little shop called “Charm” opposite a sports store with a huge selection and the kindest of staff. Very satisfied with their service. As for the jewellery shops - learn to be kinder.
If you like shopping malls this one is pretty good. All the expected chain stores, but I discovered a really good recycled clothing store on the outside of the mall. A great idea! There are also some really good eating options here.
Love this centre visit often. Everything you could every need under one roof. Usually have lunch there either in the food court or or one of the separate eateries. The shopping centre is clean warm and often busy. Lots of sitting areas for a rest.
Really big mall, easy parking. A wide range of shops to meet every need. Large food area for every taste. Good clean toilets.
Quite a good sized shopping centre, has quite a few nice coffee shops most servicing reasonable meals. Most shoppers needs are catered for.
The layout of the shopping center is a bit of a pain. If they add connections between some of the arms then it would be a bit easier to get around. Other than that the shopping center is nice and clean.
This shopping centre might not be the same size as Auckland's shopping centresMt Wellington or St Lukes, but they've got a real good range of stores, no matter what your obsession is. Heaps of car parks, ir if you want to ride your bike, there's plenty of places to park up / lock up your ride. There's even repair stations if you get a puncture and need to fix it. There's Countdown, Farmers and Kmart for all your grocery and household appliance basics. Heaps of clothing brands like Amazon, Cotton on, Dotti, Max, Peter Alexander, and Kathmandu. Whitcoulls is there for your book needs, Pascoes for Jewellery, Vodafone and 2degrees for phones and internet, Smiggles for stationery for the pre school and primary school little ones, Farm street Larder for your coffee hit plus other cafes like Starbucks, The Coffee Club, Esquires and a reasonable food mall for fast food joints like KFC, Macca's, Subway, Pita Pit, Sushi and other food options. And if your children still have got bundles if energy after dragging thrm around all the shops, there's a small climbing frame outside in a children's area that they can play around on. Bayfair's worth a visit for locals and tourists and a place to go and spend some of that free Corona handout money on
Yes love the sushi. Had twice. And countdown has lots of yummy biscuits and chocolate from. Europe
