We recently spent a few nights in #803. Pros - great comfortable king size bed, lake views, spacious kitchen, handy location........Cons - nowhere in the bathroom to put your stuff no shelves, drawers, cupboards, the fridge was the tiniest thing I've ever seen you could hardly fit anything in there which for a 3 night stay was frustrating and our room definitely did not have 50+ Sky channels which being a senior couple was quite important to us....it says on their signage outside that they have it, and was on their web site when I originally booked, although I see it's not there now.
Room 818 was outdated and in needed of an update. The walls in the bathroom appeared to be mouldy and some of the furniture was damaged. View was lovely and reception staff were nice and accomodating.Rooms: 1/5
Great service. Very accommodating. Room was spacious with view to the lake. Highly recommended to families travelers Food & drinks: The Pub on site was great too. Great service. Reliable WIFI. Tasty food.
As we walked into check in we were given an update for a room with a spa bath. The rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. I highly recommend staying here.Rooms: 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here we ain't a fussy whanau/family, when the room is CLEAN which it was. Then my family and I are grateful. As an obese person climbing up the stairs was a mission impossible I probably looked like I was climbing Mt Ruapehu grasping for breathe at the topthough our room 820 had a grand view plus I needed the exercise I did have a problem with the guest laundry room which was out of order yet no sign to say that the machines aren't working. Lucky there was the laundromat up the road. Thanks to the staff who were helpful and friendly especially to the cleaning team. Don't know about you but my whanau and I are definitely coming back here again Rooms: For my whanau/family & I we loved it here, the staff were friendly & helpful. Clean enough for me & the cleaning team were wonderful. Nearby activities: This place is right in the middle of everything that is only minutes away from nearby activities. It's the best place to be situated next to everything. Walkability: I ain't a walking person but places weren't far to go and there were plenty walkers out there 24/7 Food & drinks: Everything was so close and there's a bar restaurant right in front can't miss it.
Over priced for the room we got. It was like an old basement. Seriously needed an upgrade, especially in the bathroom. No privacy at all as the double bed was in the lounge and kitchen area right next to the ranch sliding doors and windows. Constantly had people walking past as the carpark and footpath was right outside.Rooms: 1/5
Excellent location right across.from the Lake and close to town. Tidy facilities, welcoming staff. Only thing was the laundry was closed.Rooms: 4/5
If you are looking for basic and affordable with a 10min walk to town this is the place to stay. Tina is so friendly and welcoming! Thanks Twin PeaksRooms: 3/5

Disappointed! Can't get a refund after we can't go there due to flood in Auckland. We asked for a credit instead but to no avail. Worst ever! Can't recommend to anyone.
