Story

Turtlecove Backpacker Accommodation in Whitianga provides free breakfast daily and free wifi. They have a variety of bed/room types all with motel quality mattresses. Great kitchen/dining/lounge area with flat screen tv with freeview and plenty of videos and dvds to watch for those odd wet days. Good outdoor area with free pool table and dart board. You can also borrow spades for Hot Water Beach, Snorkel gear, boogie boards. Great location half way down Bryce St with a 3 minute walk to Supermarkets at one end of the street and Main Street of Whitianga at the other end of the street. Short walk to ferry and main beach. Only 30 minutes by vehicle to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Check our website for more photos.

Great place to stay, probably one of my most favourite hosts in NZ. The beds are so comfortable, rooms, kitchen, showers... everything is very clean! Stayed there two times already and would totally go back. Breakfast toast, jam, Cornflakes, weetbix, milk, canned fruit and Speed Wifi is included.
Room was cozy, neat and quiet. And staff was sooo kind. Highly recommend you to stay here
It's a very nice place. I was there during the winter after covid, so it was quiete, but the people there were all nice. The owners are lovely and helpfull. You have a nice outside area, a nice kitchen with everything for cooking and VHS ! Free breakfast, and just a minutes walk to the beach or the main street
