Story

Here's a re-cap about what Trick-or-Treating Friendly is all about....
5 years ago i took my kids out trick-or-treating at Halloween, and i noticed something that upset me a tad. Even though many people were friendly and kind, there were also some that were just downright rude to the little ones. Seeing this, i felt there had to be a better way to keep our little ones safe and guide them to where they are welcome, and thus the Trick-or-Treating Friendly List was conceived.
The idea is, if you welcome children to trick-or-treat at your home, you register with me to be put onto the Trick-or-Treating Friendly List. Only your address and preferred time you want children to stop by is printed on the list. Other details are kept confidential.
Every year i compile a new list as people often move, leave town etc. Thus, children can now go where they are wanted and they avoid any houses that are not listed. Saying this, you don't have to register if you do not feel comfortable. All you have to do is pop a decoration or two in your front garden as a signal that you are Halloween Friendly.
The List has been successful on many levels, it's safer, children are welcomed and you can also plan your Halloween to suit everyone.
So please consider registering for 2016, it's a fun night for all.
