We absolutely loved our Queen Charlotte Track 4 day walk organised by Trail Explorers! Rachael and Matt made the whole experience easy and effortless. We did this trip for our honeymoon and it was extremely well planned from the shuttle that picked us up from the airport, amazing accomodation throughout the walk and the shuttle that picked us up at the end. We will definitely use their services again in the future. Highly recommended!!
A huge thank you to Rachael and Matt from Trail Explorers for our wonderful experience on the spectacular 4 day Self guided Queen Charlotte Track 71kms last week. We were so happy with the entire trip; walking independently was a breeze .....all the transfers, connections etc were seamless. Right from my first email Rachael was super to communicate with, her replies were always fast, clear and friendly. We could not fault anything about the trip and even the weather was fabulous, so we thoroughly recommend Trail Explorers as first choice for anyone wanting to do this walk.
We had a 4 day hike through Able Tasman coast trail, stayed at the Awaroa Lodge 3 nights. What absolute luxury, all possible because Matt and Rachel at Trail Explorers had the knowledge and experience to make it happen. What a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable couple who provide a professional quality service while welcoming strangers like friends. I would recommend their service to anyone, absolutely fantastic experience.
From the very first contact, our experience with Trail Explorers was exemplary for an active, ecotour company. They customized our Abel Tasman experience to fit an altered trip itinerary at the last minute and created an optimal hike and stay at Awaroa Lodge. Their care to communicate all details between us, the Lodge and Sea Shuttles was outstanding. Rachael and Matt purposely keep their company small and personalized and it showed in our seamless experience of the best of the Abel Tasman Track.
Matt and Rachael organised our 4 day Queen Charlotte tramp and I was impressed by their organisation and communication. As the track had experienced slips due to bad weather, they always gave us the options which included a total refund. Very impressed by this. The whole experience was fantastic, from the luggage organisation, the accomodation and the actual walk. Will use Trail Explorers again.
