Daily Cycle Hire Prices from $35 per half day (3 hours), $45 per day for adults. Children's bikes $30
Multi-day rates apply

Nelson Cycle Hire’s mission is to serve the discerning traveler. These are the people who want to be able to make independent choices when they come to enjoy Nelson’s many and varied charms. It is not about the bike! – your cycle is the platform that will take you to the places that you want to go and allow you to access those activities you choose to get pleasure from.

We do not offer a “one size fits all” product – we believe the individual should be able to tailor their vacation to suit themselves. However, we have a profound knowledge of the region’s attractions and we are willing to share our ideas with you and assist you to formulate the tour itinerary that best meets your needs.

To meet the needs of our customers we are located 75 metres from the Nelson Airport terminal at Helicopters NZ building.

Our office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Outside of these times we open by arrangement, please call us on 03 539 4193.

The Great Taste Trail is really what cycling is about in Nelson. We are located right on the trail as it runs past the airport from Nelson City out to Kaiteriteri. Nelson calls itself the heart of biking and has recently been awarded gold status internationally.

We also arrange cycle tours and custom tours which we can design to cater for the interests of the cyclists, their budgets, fitness levels and available time.

We are able to help you develop your tour itinerary using our specialist knowledge of the region's attractions, accommodation and routes."
