A gem of a place! Great vibes, natural light. Warm and friendly staff who know how to add those little touches to make a great cafe experience. The Christmas tea was just right, coffee was excellent, great selection of cabinet food. Even a quality busker outside.

What an amazing find in the most unlikely place! Visiting from Melbourne and after a google check in looking for good coffee stopped in for a flat white and a hot chocolate for my daughter. BEST coffee so far in Wellington better than Melbourne too! and delicious cheese scone served by friendly welcoming staff.

Great local cafe. Toys and colouring for the kids, coffee for the parents! The scones are tasty as. The staff are super friendly, making us feel so welcome every time we visit.

Friendly place, awesome service. Menu is very basic. Simple food done well. Pity its right where the Naenae smokers hangout.

I go here once in a while as there opening hours conflict with my work schedule and on weekends they close early but oh my i wish they close abit later on weekends. Their coffee is probably top 2 in wellington. It is on point and never have i had a bad coffee. From the shot to the milk steaming the staff are super experienced and i could tell from the taste of the coffee. The service is always awesome and the aesthetics is soooo nice to sit in to relax. This is a must visit if you are ever in naenae.

Lovely warm and welcoming vibe at Trade School Kitchen. Lured by the new menu, almost chose Esther's spicy carrot pickle and beetroot hummus bagel, the minestrone soup... but served back to beautifully fried eggs on sourdough, with TSK relish, bacon and tomatoes... savoured my tall latte...

Updated: our second visit was better than the first, and the sandwiches are better than the scones! The coffee was again superb. As for the staff? Still sharing smiles and providing a good service to their customers. Thanks for a wholesome delicious lunch! And, they were nice to our corgi we sat outside. They deserve their 5 stars! Great coffee, great scones and friendly staff, and unhurried.

Beautiful! We had poached eggs on toast, a pesto and halloumi muffin, two coffees and a massive slice of carrot cake. Everything was delicious! And the staff were amazing too. We had a really great time here today. Thank you Trade School Kitchen
