When ever I have been there, there was always a free bay so I could drive up get coins and tokens then get underway quickly. The wash bay and suroundings are always clean and tidy. I tend to head to the Botany, Ti Rakau drive one as it is closest for me.
Absolutely love going to this place. Today the guy on site was walking around asking people if they were ok, very nice of him to check in on people using the car wash.
Great for self wash. I used brushless and buggered my mag rim on metal railing that juts out at odd angle - $375 to repair brassed me off but l learnt. Do the wash myself now for $3-6 depending on what l get done. Good place obliging staff. JUST WATCH THAT RAIL IN THE BRUSHLESS CAR WASH IT A DOZZIE.
Ok not long enough when self cleaning, the time goes really fast. For example To soap a Honda Odyssey ONCE we had to run the machine twice, with missing areas untouched from rushing trying to get every spot. The brush is heavy after a while on rush mode.. - Other wise good exercise. - Enjoyable to watch the results from dirty to clean.
Very helpful Staff, great advice for cleaning our large Campervan. Very reasonable cost under $40 do it yourself.
First time user who didn’t know how to use the self wash and which options to choose etc … arrived there and was met by a super friendly and professional host - Matt! I was blown away by the level of support he gave me! He was professional, explained the best way to get maximum value and wash my car well… then he came a couple of times to check in to make sure I was doing well! I spend $9 and my car looks as if it was professionally groomed and it took me about 10mm and I was driving home in a super clean car! AMAZING! I’m there new customer!!
Always easy, but bit of a wait this time. Was wanting to use the touchless wash but had to wait for everyone to clear for the brush wash as there is only one line. Think this was a one off as never seen it so busy before.
Can't be #1 when I've come here multiple times to find both car washes closed...
There are two automatic car washes. They vary in service and price. There is an on-site vacuum and air freshener machine. However, the main feature is the 8 do it your self car washing booths. They charge $1 a minute and you can choose how you wish to was your car. Obviously the more options you choose, such as a degreaser, post wash wax etc will mean you need to spend more time which results in you spending more money. Be careful because the time runs out quick. All machines are coin operated. However there is a card to carwash token machine. Minimum exchange you have to do is $10 and in return you receive 5 $2 wash tokens which can only be redeemed at the car wash. Open 24 hours. Best to go after hours so you don’t have the helicopter owner keeping an eye on you. I recommend bringing a bucket although you are not allowed to. Pay $2 for two minutes, then fill the bucket with soap for one minute then soak the car with water for the other minute. Then use the supplied brush to scrub your car. After that spend another $2, power rinse the car for a minute, then finish off with the wax for the last minute. Easy wash for under $4.
Under New management. Good place. Mostly busy. Used to be Tj's car wash. Would be great if you can start the machine with $1 instead of minimum spending $2 in the machine.
