I cannot believe the service we get from them. Absolutely disgusting. My son was there on monday and they clearly saw that this boy is really sick. What do they do, just give meds for pain and fever. What the hell is that?????? Meds for pain and fever is not going to help him now. They then also said if he’s not better by wednesday then bring him back immediately. The monday night he went to hospital via ambulance and the doctors gave him antibiotics. He’s still not well and his fever ranges from 39-41. Then when we phone the medical centre they say sorry the doctor that saw him on monday doesn’t work on a wednesday. He’s 8 years old and really sick and no one want’s to help. Seriously I can not believe this
We recently tried to enroll as they opened their books and having moved here a few months ago they are the closest GP but they have a ridiculous policy where if you have enrolled anywhere else they won't take you. So it'd be better from their perspective we have no GP for a few months waiting for them to open their books, how is this in the patients best interest. We only enrolled elsewhere out of necessity. Extremely disappointed on a ridiculous policy. Crazy!
The girls from reception are very nice ,most of the time polite But , they always to busy , later , sometime don’t return the call , so you need call they back , I’m having some issues like they forget to add things at my profile and look so lost when I ask for something , everthing is a hard case there ! Sometimes don’t return your call ! If you really sick I recommend go right to the hospital ! I think they lost the control about how much patient they do have ! And can’t attend all , leaving a poor experience for us that pay for the service ! I know the nurses and doctor try they best but .. been complicated the health issues in Ashburton! Not very humanised service too, sometimes when I look at they they look tired and not happy to work ! Or looking like they are doing us a favour ! I hope that situation change !!good lucky for us and for they .
Voicemail when in opening hours, reception does not communicate clearly and neither do the doctors that I have dealt with.nnOn top of that reception is quite blunt and rude if you raise any concerns with them.nnProbably the worst experience I have ever had with any medical centre ever.
Really lovely staff and practice. We were visiting Ashburton and needed to see a doctor, we got an appointment the same day and was super happy with the service received. Thank you.
