My mother in law came to your clinic , had an appointment and was waiting in line to see your receptionist . After 5 minutes of waiting patiently , she got to the receptionist and was told very matter of factly that her appointment was cancelled because she was “late “.nNow, given the queue it is undeniable that she will continue to wait in line but to be told to make a new appointment for the following day was rather ridiculous as it is the norm that anyone with an appointment generally has to wait anyway due to patient / doctor demand .nnShe returned the next day , much a head of time feeling increasingly unwell. Once seen she was immediately rushed to CHC hospital with a heart status 3 .. long story short .. a pace maker was required .nnThe receptionist and her inability to show any empathy , her lack of patient care and unreasonable perception of lateness delayed my mum in law from been seen , assessed and given treatment earlier .. all because she had to wait in line . Re-think your staff and policies , educate this woman on how to treat people with respect !
They MAJORLY breached my confidentiality! They rung my mother and told her all my private information results and the results turned out to be WRONG all because I missed one call to my cell ph as I was working! I don’t even live at the same address nor was she my emergency contact or had I in anyway given them her number! They never got back in touch about my complaint! I’m so MAD
I don’t know what has happened over the past 2-4 years but three rivers has gone down so much, in so many ways. Going to the doctor for MH related reasons is hard enough without getting eyeballed sideways for it. I’m disappointed in the system of money over patients as before when Dr G and his team were there, this was the opposite, help people money later. I’m seriously contemplating after 31 years of being here at de registering and moving elsewhere where somebody will treat me with respect, dignity and listen. MH isn’t solved with unsolicited receptionist advice and being told to drink more water and go for a walk.
As a casual patient I could not have been treated better. The reception staff were kind, pleasant and obliging. The was doctor professional and thorough. Many thanks.
This establishment has continued to avoid, mistreat, and insult my partner's needs and requirements. Do not attend if you struggle with mental health issues and medications related to this, as they don't understand.nA particular receptionist, which I don't know her name as she doesn't answer the phone with it, has serious attitude and isn't helpful at all.nWill not be recommending this doctors office to anyone.
