I went into three rivers 2 months ago to discuss what travel medication I needed for our 6 month OE. They scheduled me in with a nurse, however any scripts need to go to the doctor for approval. I have still not received the script and I leave in 2 weeks time. I have been to the practise several times since to get my vaccinations and have asked about the script, which they said they're still working on. The last time I called, the receptionist asked me to send them an email with all the medication I was after, however the appointment was 2 months ago, and the nurse recommended multiple different medications which I do not remember, so I said that was not possible and the nurse should have written them down. The receptionist is now going back to the nurse, however she is not in until next week so we are cutting it very fine before our trip. Not happy, especially because I was proactive coming in early. It shouldn't take this long. We also had another issue with Three Rivers trying to charge a consult fee for an appointment that never occurred. The receptionist was very rude on the phone when I was trying to explain that we never booked it.
Very disappointing..nMade to wait 3 to 4 weeks for an appointment when the doctor we were assigned to had a waiting time of up to 8 days.n8 scripts not one was correct. The following day we would request the script to be fixed and the office lady were charged us 24 to 36 dollars.
Was a bit skeptical when I first enrolled due to some past negative reviews. Realised that's not the case anymore or perhaps they have improved. Been in for consultation twice, with different doctors. Not long waiting time, all receptionists I came across so far are fine as well. Dr Penny especially deserved a compliment for her friendly manners, also she took time to examine and explain the conditions and answer questions, never feel rushed. She is a role model no doubt.
Receptionist aren’t there to help.The arrogant lady beside kelly kept telling me stories, first told me it’s not gonna be covered by ACC and then told me to book an appointment with doctor to just give her an ACC claim number even after explaining them about conversation of ACC and when i gave ring to ACC they said it’s GP’s job to apply to us and we can look into it. That’s so pathetic. It’s not the first and not the last incident I would expect from them. However Anita my GP is lovely. I wish she could learn something from her.
Annette Norton Nurse practitioner :- she is very kind . I like her way to explain.
