Community group focused on helping each other through time rather than money!
What is Timebank Raglan?
Timebank Raglan is a time exchange system. It enables you to give and receive help within your community. You can swap skills, services and resources
How does it work?
You can earn time credits by helping out another Timebank member. You can then use your time credits to take advantage of the services offered by ANY other member!
1 hour = 1 credit.
What can I offer and receive?
The possibilities are limitless! Maybe you want someone to teach you another language, or walk your dog.. or maybe you’d like some company and help while you dig your garden. In return, you could have a skill to teach and share, like cooking or composting, or you could offer a listening ear. There are lots of ideas listed on the Timebank website, and you can ask your coordinator for help coming up with ideas of what you can give or receive.
You can also pass your credits to another person who needs extra support, or to an organisation that relies on community assistance by donating to the “Community Chest.”
