Christine,Ted,(the cat) and visitors enjoy colonial period, peace and comfortable large rooms with antique furniture, romance the delight of going back to a time past.

4 spacious guest rooms are on the 2nd floor and have views of park like gardens ,roses and big trees , mountain ranges to the south and east, and in spring a delight to behold are the neighbouring orchards in bloom.

"Top of the south" and central to the beautiful Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.

less than 1 hour driving to Nelson and Takaka, -2 hours to Murchison, Nn Lakes or Golden Bay,and -3 hours driving to Picton or Westport.

On state highway 6. 400meters from the iconic "clock tower" and DOC (conservation) offices.

A 20 minute walk to Motueka cbd and a number of good restaurants.

Timed to suit you, breakfast includes a selection of home made jams, toast, cereals, yogurt ,seasonal fruits , juice and fresh eggs if the hens are on form!

Complementary tea and coffee and use of Kitchen, BBQ and washing machine by arrangement.
