he Tiki whanau (Family) are an indigenous New Zealand wine producer committed to sustainable winegrowing with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
TIKI is a family-owned business by Royce and Sue McKean. The TIKI brand pays homage to Royce’s great-great grandfather, Tikitere Mihi, who was a Ngatiuenuku chief. The esteemed tiki is also a powerful good luck charm for the Maori people of New Zealand.
TIKI is committed to sustainable winegrowing and to working with the environment without compromising quality. We care for our vines under the guiding Maori principles of Kaitiakitanga: guardianship, protection and preservation of the earth.
TIKI’s key varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Rosé and Pinot Noir. Their main vineyards are in Marlborough and Waipara with a small quantity of Pinot Noir sourced from Central Otago. TIKI’s wines are made by leading New Zealand winemaker, Evan Ward, who brings over 35 years experience to the TIKI brand portfolio.
