Had steak somewhere in Queenstown, that meal make me think "Queenstown never compare to my CHCH" until I had Angus Steak here. That is what steak should taste like!!! Everyone! MUST! COME!Food: 5/5
Very few vegetarian options, entrées were good but the mains were rather plain and unenjoyable. It is quite expensive for what you get even though the portion sizes were decent. The view and restaurant were beautiful and well kept, also the staff were friendly and polite. However, the food is the main reason to go to a restaurant and our meals simply weren't very good. I would have a hard time recommending this restaurant for the price and quality.
Nice place to eat Just wish there were more chicken/veg options
Without doubt, this was the best meal we have had in Queenstown. The menu was top quality! Honestly the meal was fantastic, we had a Ribeye and Pork Burger followed by brownie and ice cream sundae. My husband and I are both chefs ourselves and appreciated the work gone into our meal. Thank you we will be back soon.
Great location in the heart of Queenstown, if you are lucky enough to get a window seat you can sit down and watch the world go past. Unfortunately the food was somewhat underwhelming, and wasn't consistent with the high standards that one would expect from a crown plaza. Quite possibly this was the worst fish and chips I've eaten see picture below I hate to give 'bad reviews' but unfortunately on this occasion it's was a streach to give two stars. Lift your game crown plaza Queenstown!
Good vegetarian options. The desert was fabulous.
This is a reasonable place, but not the best in town by a long shot. The menu is fairly limited and close to a pub style I.e steak, chicken, fish and the normal sides. We spent about $140 for 2 mains, 2 kids meals and 2 glasses of wine. The food was good, but as I said there are much better places in town. Our hotel Saint Moritz has a much better restaurant and much the same price.
Staff are lovely, especially the manager who took the time to speak with us and check our food was okay. Menu looks nice but unfortunately it’s not worth the price we paid, was okay but wouldn’t be rushing back. Local pub can provide a meal at the same standard for a cheaper price.
The service was very slow. However, the location, facilities and staff were exceptional. The food was also really good. Would highly recommend if you have enough time as the food is definitely worth the wait.
Great view, friendly staff and great food. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere was pleasant and warm. Parking could be a bit of a challenge so make sure to allow some extra time for that.
