Story

Thirty30 is a craft beer bar for everyone. We offer a great range of NZ Craft Beers including McLeods, Hawkes Bay Brewery, Moa, Tuatara to name a few.
Our full menu is available throughout the day and we specialise in the best burgers the Bay has to offer, along with daily specials.
We are a live music menu and have music from local talented artists at least a few nights a week, feel free to send us a message to see who is playing. Every Sunday is Jam night, it is the place to be from 7.30pm. We get a mixture of musicians coming to show us their talent, everyone welcome to join in.

This bar is awesome, not only did they have well priced craft beer on tap, live music, heaps of board games but $6 burger and fries on specials also which was awesome. The spicy veggie burger was the best! Loved the chill vibe, definitely returning
There’s often live music which is something that gives the place really good vibes. I don’t drink alcohol but there are food options which is good. Lovely staff. And I love the decorations! I fell in love with a table with a fireplace in the middle!
Mediocre burger with good fries for $6.00. Burger had very small patty. Female bartender owner? was rude and unfriendly. Would only serve drinks with food accompanied and needlessly denied drink order after we ordered food. Gave us cold looks throughout evening making experience very hostile.
30thirty was okay. The decor was fantastic, I loved the atmosphere and games area. But we were there during happy hour so they could've recommended the happy hour $6 burger and fries. This little act customer service would've made the experiences a lot better. The chicken burger was okay but not great.
Fun nights had by all. Good DJ in sinc with us etc. If you into craft beer that's good and standard other. Friendly staff n punters
Good food freshly cooked great value for your money. Live music after 8pm St Patrick's night. Classic Rock before then real sing along music not too loud so conversation still possible. Kudos to the chef. Staff friendly and efficient. If you are a non smoker look for the prevailing wind and sit accordingly.
On a whim, we decided to check this place out on a very rainy Sunday night Valentines Day. We were not disappointed. Dave behind the bar is one of the most interesting, friendly and genuine individuals we've ever met in Paihia. Her made us feel very at home, tended to our every beverage need and it was great getting to know him and hear his story. He joined us for beers after he finished and even dropped us back at where we were staying at the end of the night. I highly recommend visiting this bar not only for the food and beverages but to meet and chat with Dave - thank you Dave!
nice service, love the atmosphere and the happy hour offers were really good. I've had the vegan burger which was a bit dry, I'd have loved some more sauce on itbut that's just a small thing. The live music was also really great!
Went to hear a band. Fast service, thanks to Zephyr! Really popular place on a Sat night. Tried a recommended Cider and enjoyed it. Great night out. Didn't eat in, but watched some pretty amazing meals pass by our table. Maybe next time we will dine in. Will be going again.
We went for a family meal after being out on the water all day, staff member that looked after us was fantastic great service food was great and price was more than reasonable ... was great to see this place still rocking along after all the covid uncertainty of late so if your looking for an almost secret little bolt hole in paihia for a good feed and great service you cant go past this place ...
