Piece of history. Very dated, but interesting little museum. Not just about wool and sheep, there's other surprises too like steam engine. There's se interactive exhibits. Also there is fire brigade history museum to look at too although it is much smaller than other part of museum. Kids had fun checking everything out.

Loved this little place in Marsterton, bought a pair of sheepskin slippers for our granddaughter, she loves them an fit her feet well, she's not long been walking an are good, not clumsy in them. A great place to shop.
The museum is informative. The gift shop is small but what we wanted was in stock.
Nice little place to watch traditional crafts, try out the shearing tools, feel the different qualities of wool and watch competitions in videos. It is advisable to ask for a sheep shearing demonstration in advance and attend these dates or go with a larger group and ask for a demo. The hats or original T-shirts made of merino wool, which you can buy in the shop, are also interesting.
