Stayed on 23rd April. This is our third stay. The motel is becoming tired. The bed this time was especially uncomfortable that we both woke with bad backs. Water pressure good in the shower. The couch bottoms out when sat on and I was advised on booking that the television was out of order. Internet available and mostly good connection. Cleanliness could be improved, dust behind toilet and tiled floors were stained. Close to town with parking outside the unit. We stayed in the super king motel unit.
Absolutely amazing staff, booked at last minute ite and was accommodated immediately. Our room had a bath/shower very clean and well presented, after our adventurous it was amazing to soak away the day.
The room is well equipped, but the hot water supply in the shower is limited.
This is the perfect place to stay in and around Fox Glacier/Franz Josef. The accommodation was the most affordable of my entire NZ trip, even in a remote location like Fox Glacier. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the room was very clean with some kitchen utensils provided. The only issue was with the shower, which had very low pressure when using hot water, making my bath take ages. Despite this, the accommodation and location were worth every penny. I strongly recommend staying here in this region.nnNote that the food and restro bars are very very expensive around this place given the geographical location, can't complain.
This is an older motel but we were happy with our accommodation, it had everything we needed. It's in a great location and very close to tourist attractions. You could book sight seeing activities from the office or just around the corner at the small settlement.
